The Care Instructions

Each one of our products has a story and character as distinctive and personal as the people who snuggle under it. Your blanket holds a story hidden in the stitches, whispering from deep within the folds.

If you look closely you can still feel the sheep grazing in the lush green pastures, the sun gently warming each fibre. Slow your breathing, listen carefully for the creaking of the mill and the musical click clacking of the needles. If you’re very very quiet, and snuggle right right down, you will feel a warm gentle calmness begin to caress you, encouraging and inviting you to have a little snooze …

We wish you many years of soft sweet snuggling

Care instructions:

·       Give your blanket a gentle stretch after unwrapping it from its packaging ( Don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt)

  • Avoid washing, wool likes to breathe not drown. After intense snuggle time, your blanket may need a breath of fresh air – hang on the line outside, no pegs.

  • If you have a spill: spot clean dabbing with luke warm water – don’t rub.

  • If you have a catastrophic spill – soak and hand wash at 30 degrees with a plunging motion. Do not rub, pull or stretch. Squeeze out the water, dry on a flat surface caressing your blanket into shape. Drying time can take 2-3 days. Just sayin’.

  • Or dry clean ‘delicate’.

  • Or ask Mum.

  • Pilling is a normal process in all woollen products – snip (carefully) any bobbles you find

  • Avoid high traffic areas and rough surfaces, but if you do find a snag: gently smooth the fibres pack into place with the grain of the wool.

Or ask Mum

Storing

Your blanket is a natural product, and naturally needs to be stored with care:

  • Air before storing.

  • Wrap in bleach and colour free tissue, store in cardboard or cotton. If possible store with natural animal repellents (sandalwood, lavender are ideal) ensuring no direct contact with the wool.

  • Avoid plastics to avoid suffocation, discolouration, and general sadness from your blanket.
